Reward and punishment are two techniques of learning that are used in ope-rant conditioning. These techniques are used to teach a behavior to animals or human beings. These are very effective techniques in ope-rant conditioning.

When reward is presented to an animal or human being on learning a behavior is very effective. It increase the motivation level of that person. But if someone gets punishment, it reduces the hope or demotivates the person. It is painful.
