Heat energy comes from the radiation of the Sun. With uneven radiation, there is going to be a spot that is hottest, which is the equator because no matter the angle of the Earth it’ll get hit the most with Sun. Because of the equator being the hottest, conduction occurs. Conduction is when the ground gets hot from the Sun and the air molecules that directly touch it become hot as well, causing the hot molecules to rise. When these warm molecules rise it is called convection. This warm air rises, moves, and it eventually cools and sinks again, forming wind. I hope this helps!
