Explanation:

Lets say a triangle has a right angle, an angle of 55 degrees, and an unknown angle. We want to find the angle of the unknown angle (excuse my wording)

Since we know that right angles are always 90 degrees, we can add that with the 55 degrees of the other angle that we know.

90 + 55 = 145.

Since triangles have a total angle of 180 degrees, we subtract 180 - 145.

180 - 145 = 35

So the answer is 35.
