Answer: +7

Step-by-step explanation: Think of the absolute value of a number as the positive version of that number.

So the absolute value of -5 would be 5 and

the absolute value of -2 would be 2.

So we have (5) + (2) which is +7.

Notice that I used parentheses around the numbers

as they came out of the absolute values.

This is a good habit to get into for future problems.
