The given equation is 3(x - 4) (2x - 3) =0

When we have 0 on the right hand side of given equation , we can compare two factors with 0 .

we can do this by :

(3×x - 3×4) (2x-3)=0

(3x-12)(2x-3)=0

either , (3x-12)=0

or,3x = 12

or, x = 12/3

or ,x = 4

now , comparing other factor:

(2x -3) =0

or, 2x = 3

or ,x=3/2
