Answer:

also know as the Indian caste system is a system which divides Hindus into rigid hierarchical groups based on their karma (work) and dharma (the Hindi word for religion, but here it means duty) is generally accepted to be more than 3,000 years old. The order is Braham on top then Kshatriya then Vaishyas then Shudra. and at the bottom are the "Untouchables".

Hope this helps :)

Answer:

The Hindu Cast system is how people were placed due to their Karma, and/or Dharma. Based on there Karma, they were put into certain groups as high as Brahmin and to as low as Sudra's, but there is a fifth one that would be counted as the lowest which is Untouchables, or Out of Caste. These rules were very strict as of you couldn't marry one of another group. This Caste system was banned, and still some follow these rules, because it may be customary or they feel like they need too.

100% with this. :) (This is not copied and pasted this is my own words that I had done. :D)
