\\ \sf{:}\longrightarrow (-1)/(5√(2))

  • Multiply 5√2 on both numerator and denominator

\\ \sf{:}\longrightarrow (-1(5√2))/((5√2)^2)

\\ \sf{:}\longrightarrow (-5√2)/(25(2))

\\ \sf{:}\longrightarrow (-5√2)/(50)

\\ \sf{:}\longrightarrow (-√2)/(10)

Answer:

-

( - √(2) )/(10)

step by step:

( - 1)/(5 √(2 ) ) * ( √(2) )/( √(2) ) = ( - √(2) )/(5 * 2) = ( - √(2) )/(10)

multiply by the square root of 2 to get rid of the square root of 2 on the bottom, then simplify. hope this helped :)
