The school store sold a total of 55 shirts for $620. The shirts sold were either blue or gray. If the

blue shirts sold for $12 each and the gray shirts sold for $10 eac, how many color of each shirt
were sold?

What is showing you need to divide then add and multiply

620÷55 =11.27

so, 55÷2 =27.05

620÷30=20

So the answer is

27 blue and 30 gray
