Answer: Sample Response: Last month, a friend wanted to copy off my test, but I said no because I know my school has a zero-tolerance cheating policy. I was angry at my friend because I had studied hard and I thought it was unfair that she wanted me to risk getting a zero by letting her copy. I used a firm voice and assertive body language to let her know she could not change my mind.

Answer:

One time my friend was trying to convince me to go to a party. I didn’t want to go because I didn’t know who was gonna be there. So I used “assertive refusal” and confidently declined that offer to go.
