If the volume of a prism is 30m3 and it’s height is 5m what is the area of the base

Explanation:

Any prism volume is V = BH where B is area of base and H is height of prism,

B = 1/2 h(b1+b2) since B is the area of the base


(v)/(h)=B if we solve for B from the volume formula

which gives:
(30m^(3) )/(5m) and the units cancel out to leave 6
m^(2) is the area of the base
