Cramming refers to an intense method of absorbing usually large volume of information over a very short period of time. Cramming is usually adopted by learners when examination or tests are almost due, such that information is absorbed usually in almost the same way as it is written, in other to do this there will be little or no interval between repetition of information to be absorbed, information of absorbed in this manner are usually short lived. Long period repetition allows a reasonable interval between repetition so as to allow interpretation and assimilation of the information before being repeated.
