Answer:

Part A:Using Pythagorean Theorem a² + b² = c²

Part B: Unknown

Explanation:

Part A: Its literally on your paper "Pythagorean Theorem in Three Dimensions"

Part B: you would need 2 sides of the triangle to use Pythagorean Theorem or at least 1 side and 1 angle in Trigonometry. But Part B just gives 1 side being 10 ft (base).

so the triangle would look like:

10² for the base.

x² for the guy wire.

y² for the pole.

to my knowledge its not possible to find the answer of the wire with only 1 side.
