Explanation:

6=|x|+3-x

move the terms

-|x|+x=3-6

-|x|+x=-3

-x+x=-3 , x > 0 (put a line under >)

-(-x)+x=-3 , x < 0

-3/2 , x < 0 find the intersection

x= -3/2

if you dont want it as a fraction you can do -1.5 in decimal form
