6x4=24 don’t divide by two for both sides, 5x10x2=100 for both sides, and 6x10=60 for the base. Lastly add it up, 24+100=124, 124+60=184cm2

Answer:

184 cm^2

Explanation:

The surface area of the triangular prism is found by adding up the areas of the sides

We have two triangular bases

A = 1/2 bh

= 1/2 (6) * 4 = 12

But there are 2 of them so multiply by 2

2*12 = 24

We have 2 sides that are rectangles

A = l*w

A = 5*10 = 50

There are 2 so multiply by 2

2*50 =100

We have the one rectangle that the figure is resting on

A = b*w= 6*10=60

Add all five areas together

2 triangles + 2 sides + 1 bottom

24+ 100 + 60

184 cm^2
