Bradbury conveys in the story of living in a society where living in is absorbed in technology. Any sign of anything that is out of the ordinary is considered suspicious behavior due to the fact that the societal norm is being tied to revolving a regular life around devices, thus seen as a criminal act of any living being acts otherwise.
