C. Some of the ideas set forth in the United States Constitution were taken from the Magna Carta.

The Founders borrowed ideas from other documents when they were writing the Constitution.

The answer is not d because they are similar. They both are about the rights of people that are being accused. The Magna Carta is about Trial by Jury. The Constitution being about the right of privacy and such.

The answer is not A because that was not the purpose of the Constitution. It was made for the purpose of replacing the Articles of Confederation, making a new government. Also the right of trial by jury is in the sixth amendment.

The answer is not b because the Magna Carta was written by English barons when King John was abusing his powers. The Constitution was written by the founders to establish the government of the nation.
