1. Answer:

Anne uses an optimistic technique with a touch of aggression and humor.

1. Explanation:

Anne Frank is a fifteen-year-old girl who started writing her diary when she and her family went underground to save their lives during the days of the Holocaust. It was a very crucial and difficult time for them.

For about 2-3 years they hid at a warehouse in Holland until they got caught. Throughout the diary, she describes how difficult her life was and what troubles her family had to face. She highlighted her inter-personal life, family relationships and the constant struggle of survival. Regardless of her age, she portrays intelligence in her writing and sees life very maturely.

2. Answer:

Meip agreed to help Mr Frank while Mr Van Daan despite being a smart man had given up the power of decision making in front of his wife.

2. Explanation:

Miep was a young woman who was Mr Frank's secretary. She was asked by Anne's father to shop for them every day as they could not leave the house. Miep always said yes to everything Mr Frank would say, even though he always waited for her opinion regarding his requests.

Meanwhile, the Van Daan's, in the beginning, were loved by Frank's very much but later Anne describes them to be very egoistic and impatient.
