Answer:

7/8

Explanation:

To add fractions, we need a common denominator

The common denominator of 4 and 8 is 8.

3/8 already has the common denominator.

Multiply 2/4 by 2/2 to get the common denominator

2/4*2/2=4/8

Now we have common denominators and can add

3/8+4/8

Add the numerators, and leave the denominator as is

7/8

Hope this helps! :)

Answer:

7/8

Explanation:

In order to solve this problem, we need to find a common denominator, which is basically the least common multiple of the two denominators.

The two denominators are 8 and 4, and their LCM is 8. So, let's convert all these fractions so that their denominators are 8.

3/8 is already there, so we don't need to touch that.

To make 2/4 have a denominator of 8, we need to multiply the numerator and denominator by 2: (2 * 2)/(4 * 2) = 4/8

Now, we add: (3/8) + (4/8) = 7/8

That's why the answer is 7/8.

Hope this helps!
