SOLUTION:

as tile is square, area of one tile ​
=\text{length}^2


=1^2=1\text{feet}^2

as hallway is rectangular ,area of school hallway
=\text{length}*\text{width}


=75*9


=675\text{ feet}^2

number of tiles required
=\frac{\text{area of hallway}}{\text{area of one tile}}


=(675)/(1)


=675

Hence total
675 tiles are required to cover the floor of hallway.
