Rotations, translations and reflections produce congruent figures.

Dilations and stretches produce figures that are similar, but not congruent.

So, if you use only rotations, translations and reflections you obtain a congruent figure.

If you use at least one dilation or stretch, you don't obtain a congruent figure.
