Answer: 21.5

Explanation:

The order of operations are:

1) Parenthesis and Brackets

2) Exponents

3) Multiplication and Division (from left to right)

4) Addition and Subtraction (from left to right)

Parenthesis are first so let's solve them first

43 ÷ (7 − 3) × 2

43 ÷ (4) × 2

Now we only have division and multiplication

So we must do this from left to right, starting by 43 ÷ 4

43 ÷ 4 × 2

10.75× 2

Finally, multiply

10.75× 2

21.5

43 / (7 - 3) * 2

using BODMAS ~

43 / (4) * 2 \\ \\ \dashrightarrow \: \frac{43}{\cancel{4}} * \cancel{2} \\ \\ \dashrightarrow \: (43)/(2) \\ \\ \dashrightarrow \: 21.5
