Reducing "Heat Lost"

The pups have dense fur because they do not have enough blubber to have the extra thermal insulator as the blubbers density increases in the cold water to keep the heat from escaping and causing the seal to get colder. Hope this helps you sorry if it doesn’t that’s all I can recall from biology I researched a bit to get some solid facts in.
