People often refer to humans as having five senses. Some argue that we have others (sensing motion, balance, etc.). What might be a good argument FOR counting balance & equilibrium as one of our key senses (hint: close your eyes and remain standing)?

Answer:

A combination of senses

Step-by-step explanation:

Humans perceive their world through sensory messages these are sight, taste, hearing, touch and smell. While there may be another tied to intuition itself and the "gut feeling" sense is often also debated.

To rectify these claims the five core sensory perceptions can be stimulated in a number of combination to give definition to other conditions such as balance and equilibrium.

When closing one's eyes and standing the sense of sight is not in use and the messages sent to the brain to remain in a certain position in being interfered with.

In conclusion, the sense of perception is a culmination of the different combination of the core senses.
