It’s 3 ft wide because 6+6 is 12 and the perimeter is 18 and 18-12 is 6 so divide that by 2 is 3 for each side which all equals to 18

Answer:

3 ft

Explanation:

Perimeter is

P = 2(l+w)

Substituting what we know

18 = 2(6+w)

Divide each side by 2

18/2 = 2(6+w)/2

9 = 6+w

Subtract 6 from each side

9-6 = 6+w-6

3 =w
