The classical REFUTATION to the Cosmological Argument is the argument that if all effects need a cause, then logically God should need another cause too, so another God must have created him. Then this prior God would need a God as its cause, as would that God, and so on - ad infinitum. This objection is known as a fallacy of__________.

Answer: Infinite regression

Explanation: The fallacy of Infinite regression could be explained that in other to establish a notion, it must be backed up by the truth or veracity of another notion. Put simply, for something to exist, it must be aided by another. Such that nothing will be able capable of being in existence without being aided by another. Infinite regression is of the notion that an effect must definitely exhibit a cause. Which is the fallacy behind the the notion that for human existence was caused by God, then God's existence must be caused by something and so on till infinity.
