Answer:

John has been addicted to Alcohol

Step-by-step explanation:

Addiction has following characteristics :

  • Very Habitual consumption
  • Person's extremely urge-ful demand
  • Person's obsession with the thing (constant thinking about it)
  • Instant Gratification (unreasonable happiness & relaxation feeling after consuming the good)
  • Withdrawal Symptoms (person feels extreme craving, restlessness, irritation & even depression - when trying to cease the good or activity)

John is a regular drinker. This symbolises his habitual demand. On not drinking alcohol, he feels sickening craving. This symbolises withdrawal symptoms difficulties. When he drinks again, he starts feeling better. This symbolises instant gratification.

All these addiction features present in John : show that - He has been an Alcohol addict.
