The card is 2 3 full when 375 more than 1/4 of the card is full. Set up an equation to find the total number of pictures the card can hold:

2/3(x) = 1/4(x) + 375

Find common denominator and rewrite fractions:

(9/12)x - (3/12)x = 375

Simplify:

(6/12)x = 375

Solve for x

x = 750

Now multiply by 5/6:

750 x 5/6 = 625 pictures
