Answer:

The theme of a story is the underlying message of that story or the big idea. The theme most of the time is illustrated through implied actions of the characters and the plot, it can also be directly stated. but central purpose of the story is what the story aims or wants to achieve.

Step-by-step explanation:

Furthermore, commercial fiction is made to show an adventure or entertain but usually has one or more common cliches which means it lacks characterization.

Literary fiction on the other hand, is used to explore a concept or used to express a point but in this case, characters are differentiated through characterization. in summary, literary fiction is character driven whereas commercial fiction is plot driven.

Literary fiction has to do more with style, imagery and language. and they are more complex to read compared to commercial fiction. Commercial fiction characters are more like everyday people.

Their is also a difference in the book cover of commercial fiction and that of literary fiction.
