Please double check my translations, I am listing/describing the sequence of events from the time I arrive at an airport until I board the airplane :)

-I arrive at the airport. Llego al aeropuerto.
-I take my luggage out of my car and go to the airline counter. Saco mi equipaje de mi auto y voy al mostrador de la aerolínea.
-I show my ticket at the counter and check my luggage. Muestro mi boleto en el mostrador y reviso mi equipaje.
-I wait in line to go through the security gate. Espero en la fila para pasar por la puerta de seguridad.
-I listen to music while I wait for my flight. Escucho música mientras espero mi vuelo.
-I bring my boarding pass and ticket to the boarding gate. Traigo mi tarjeta de embarque y mi boleto a la puerta de embarque.
-I get on the plane and go to my seat. Me subo al avión y voy a mi asiento.

I think that instead of "en el mostrador", it should be "al mostrador" because you're "at" the counter, not "in" the counter.

- I listen to music while I wait for my flight. Escucho música mientras espero mi vuelo.

Here, I believe that you should have "para" between "espero" and "mi vuelo" because you're waiting "for" your flight.
