The tilt of the earth contributes to the seasons by where you live.

As the earth spins on its axis certain parts of the world are either close to the sun or not. Like in the USA its spring. They are almost about at the angle closest to the sun. The furthest parts from the sun have winter or if they are away from the sun but they can still be heated by it then its fall.
