Question : -

Angle A and Angle B are vertical angles . If mAngle A = ( 8x - 12 )° and mAngle B = ( 6x + 14 )°, then find the value of x .

Given : -

  • Angle A = ( 8x - 12 )°

  • Angle B = ( 6x + 14 )°

To Find : -

We have to find the value of x

Concept : -

Concept of this question belongs to vertical angles i.e. vertical angle are always equal .

So Starting Our Solution : -

  • Angle A = Angle B

  • 8x - 12 = 6x + 14

  • 8x - 6x = 14 + 12

  • 2x = 26

  • x = 26/2

  • x = 13

Verification : -

We are verifying our answer by putting the value of x in given Angle A and Angle B ,

  • Angle A = Angle B

  • ( 8x - 12 )° = ( 6x + 14 )°

  • ( 104 - 12 )° = ( 78 + 14 )°

  • 92° = 92°

  • L.H.S = R.H.S

  • Hence, Verified .
