An equation has solutions of m= -5 and m=9. Which would be the equation?

Explanation:

There are many more answers to this question, but if we're asking for some kind of polynomial equation, any polynomial with two solutions is of degree two. If
m=-5, we can also say that
m+5=0, and if
m=9, then
m-9=0. We can combine these two statements by saying that
(m+5)(m-9)=0 when either
m=-5 or
m=9. Expanding that equation out, we get the expanded form
m^2-4m-45=0
