769.30 cubic inches

Explanation:

height, h = 5 inches

Diameter, d = 14 inches

Hence radius, r = d/2 = 14/ = 7

A snare drum has the shape of a cylinder

Therefore, volume of the snare drum = volume of a cylinder

= πr^2h

= 3.14* 7^2 * 5

= 769.3 cubic inches
