Slope intercept form:-

  • y=mx+b

Now convert

  • 9x+3y=27
  • 3y=-9x+27
  • 3y=3(-3x+9)

Cancel 3

  • y=-3x+9

slope intercept form: y = mx + b [ where m is slope and b is y-intercept ]

\dashrightarrow \ \sf9x + 3y = 27

\dashrightarrow \ \sf 3y = 27 -9x

\dashrightarrow \ \sf y = (27 -9x)/(3)

\dashrightarrow \ \sf y = -3x + 9

Here, the "slope is -3" and "y-intercept is 9"
