A thermite reaction releases large amounts of heat

and light, resulting in the melting of the iron metal
that forms during the reaction. The balanced
chemical equation is given below:
Fe, 0, + 2A1 → AL, O, + 2Fe
Determine the correct mole ratios for the following
substances, based on this chemical equation.

Answer:

Fe2O3:Al = 1:2

Al:Fe = 2 : 2

Al:Al2O3 = 2 : 1

Step-by-step explanation:

just took it on edge 2020 and got it correct

have a great day :)

The molar ratios are:

Fe₂O₃ : Al = 1 : 2

Al : Fe = 2 : 2 (or) 1 : 1

Al : Al₂O₃ = 2: 1

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the correct mole ratio, we have to write the balanced reaction. Aluminium and iron oxide reacts with each other to form Aluminium oxide and iron and releases a lot amount of energy in the form of heat and light and it is highly exothermic reaction.

2 Al + Fe₂O₃ → Al₂O₃ + 2 Fe

Mole ratios are:

Fe₂O₃ : Al = 1 : 2

Al : Fe = 2 : 2 (or) 1 : 1

Al : Al₂O₃ = 2: 1

So Using the Balanced equation, the molar ratios of the required substances were found.
