area= 1/2(b)(h)

b for both traingles is 4

height of 1 triangle is 10 and the other is 20

total are will equal both triangles added together

area of first triangle = 1/2(10)(4)= 20ft^2

area of second triangle = 1/2(20)(4)= 40ft^2

area of the kite= 20+40= 60ft^2
