Do you think an employer can accurately judge an applicant’s skills and character by reviewing his/her job application? Why or why not? Please explain in 6-7 well-written sentences.

no b/c not all people are good writers i think u should get to know your employee personally but within limits of the work environment and go from there

Answer: no.

Explanation: it is possible for employers to make some sort of judgement of applicants' skills and characters. however, some people who apply are not always honest in their job applications for a better chance at getting the job. for example, one may write how punctual and organized they are, when in reality they are not. even though certain job applicants may exaggerate their skills and qualities, this should not negate the fact that degrees and certifications do provide insight in skill levels. in order to gain degrees/certifications, one must have had assessment in their skills. as for character, it is hard to accurately judge as people are prone to make themselves seem better than they may be via a job application. however, an interview may provide a way for the employer to judge the applicant more accurately.
