throughout his pieces in place, Shakespeare incorporates themes that Divine human nature. In this play Hamlet he uses the characters to portray desire in flaws with Society to teach the audience a lesson that is not always visible on the surface of his works. The lessons not only meant to be a lesson but also a warning, as Shakespeare is famously known for his ability to in the lives of many of his actors in his pieces all in the name of teaching the audience. His most prominent lesson is one that is focused around the main plot of Hamlet, Revenge. Shakespeare uses Hamlet and Laertes to show that Revenge will always result in excess damage not meant to be dealt

The theme of revenge starts off very early in the play when Hamlet speaks with the ghost of his dead father and when the ghost tells Hamlet how Claudius murdered him which Hamlet was extremely angry and overtaken with feelings of responsibility to right the wrong that he been done to murder Claudius
