The Cat would weigh 6 pounds and the dog would weigh 18 pounds.
This is because 6 times 3 is 18.
If the cat weighs 6 pounds, then the dogs would weigh 18 pounds if it is 3 times the weight of the cat.
18 plus 6 is the total weight of 24.
