The officers wives had it easy , they had to do little chores could bring as much luggage as they wanted . When they had a baby all they did was lay in bed and servants would look after the child and did not have to cook. However , the enlisted men's wives had to be laundresses and nurses and if an officer had a small farm they were the ones that had to tend to the farm . And were not paid in silver or gold rather were paid in milk and butter.Explanation:I got 100%
