Wave with high amplitude has more height as compared to the one with low amplitude.

Step-by-step explanation:

The amplitude of a wave is directly proportional to the amount of energy a wave carries with it. This amount of energy is again directly related to the height and also wavelength of wave.

So, a wave which has more energy will have more height and hence more amplitude.

When the amplitude of a light wave increases, then photon of the wave gets more energy.

However, increased energy due to increased amplitude has no impact on the speed of the travelling wave. This is because speed of wave depends on the properties of the medium in which it is travelling. So to alter wave speed, it is required to change the medium.
