Here,

In the bigger circle,

Circumference(C)=21.6in

or,2πr=21.6

or,2×3.14×r=21.6

or, r=21.6/6.28

therefore,r=3.43

d=2×r

d=6.87

In the smaller circle,

r=2.3in

d=4.6in

Difference od radius=6.87-4.6

=2.27 in

=2.3in
