Answer:

(2,-3)

Explanation:

-2x +3y = -13

-2x -5y = 11

Multiply the second equation by -1

2x +5y = -11

Add this to the first equation

-2x +3y = -13

2x +5y = -11

--------------------

8y = -24

Divide each side by 8

8y/8 = -24/8

y = -3

Now find x

2x +5y =-11

2x +5(-3) =-11

2x-15 =-11

Add 15 to each side

2x-15+15 = -11+15

2x =4

Divide each side by 2

2x/2 = 4/2

x =2
