Explanation: to find the volume of the cone you would have to use the formula:

1/3* pi* r^2* h
If the dimensions are to be plugged in the formula would then be

1/3* 3.14* 4^2 * 12

Therefor the volume of the cone is 201.06 in^3

Moving on to the cylinder, the formula used would be

V=Bh

To find B the formula used would be

B= pi* r^2

Plugged in the formula would turn unto

B= 3.14* 3^2

The volume of the cylinder is 226.19

When subtracted, the area if the cylinder is about 25 cubic inches less than the cone, so the answer is D.
