Explanation:

recall that all the internal angles within a triangle sum up to 180°, hence the missing internal angle

= 180° - 62° - 41 °

= 77°

using the law of sines (i.e sine rule)

x / sin 62° = y / sin 41° = 14 / sin 77°

we can thus solve for x and y:

Considering X,

x / sin 62° = 14 / sin 77°

x = (14 sin 62°) / (sin 77)

x = 12.68

Considering y,

y / sin 41° = 14 / sin 77°

y = (14 sin 41°) / (sin 77°)

y = 9.43
