Answer: The theme of the poem is Regret

Explanation: The author finds words of loss on a vine on his/her wall that are eager to be used. This here refers to personification where words are referred to as human or given the characteristics of human attributes. The author has used a few of the words but along the line lost some of them and regrets loosing them: "Now regrets Are all I have for supper ". More often than not we use words or say things we end up regretting. That is why it is very important to watch what we say and to who we say it to avoid regretting our actions in the future.
