Let's first find the area of each circle.

Circle A:

r = 12 / 2 = 6

A = pi x 6^2

A = 36pi in^2

Circle b:

r = 22 / 2 = 11

A = pi x 11^2

A = 121pi in^2

Now, the ratio would be the area of circle A / circle B.

36pi / 121pi = 113.10 in^2 / 380.13 in^2

Hope this helps!! :)
