h=1 and k=0 so : f(x) = a(x-1)²

a parabola that passes through the point (2,8) : f(2)=8

a(2-1)² =8

a= 8

f(x) = 8(x-1)²= 8(x²-2x+1)

f(x) 8x²-16x+8 .....standard form
