Angle “A” and Angle “B” are SUPLEMENTARY Angles. If ZA = (9x + 7), and ZB = (13x - 3)º, find the

measurement of each angle.

ZA = 79

ZB =101

Explanation:

ZA and ZB are supplementary angles, so they add to 180 degrees

ZA + ZB = 180

(9x + 7) + (13x - 3) = 180

Combine like terms

22x +4 =180

Subtract 4 from each side

22x+4-4 =180-4

22x = 176

Divide each side by 22

22x/22=176/22

x=8

ZA = (9x + 7) = 9*8 +7 = 79

ZB = 13x-3 =13*8-3 =101
