It takes Bill 1/10 hour to walk a 1/6 mile park loop. What is Bill's unit rate, in miles per hour?

16.7 miles per hour.

Explanation:

1/10 hour is equal to 6 minutes so it takes him 6 minutes to walk 1/6 mile. So he's walked 1 mile in 36 minutes.

Then we divide 1 mile by the time it took him to walk it to know how much distance he walks in 1 minute 1 mile/36=0.277777778

Then you multiply this by 60 because an hour has 60 minutes

0.277777778 x 60=16.7

This means he is walking at 16.7 mph
